I've been toying with the idea of chopping all my hair off. I mentioned it at the last friendual gathering and the room let up a resounding "no!" Seems my long hair is hawt, but my oh my is it complicated.
Any opinions? Suggestions? Short hair for the summer makes sense, no?
It just feels BIG. I've been snapping hair elastics left, right and center because the hair appears to be expanding. That would make for a good comic. ATTACK OF ATTILA THE HAIR. Spooky.
Speaking of comics, my friend Lenore is a contender in The Scope's (local newspaper) comic contest! If you wanted to vote for her, check it out here (you just have to press the little orange "like" button in the top corner). No pressure!
Now it's time for me to cut and paste some more zine pages together - four done already! It's so exciting. :)

ReplyDeletei cut my hair when it started to get hot this year. i do it pretty much every year and it makes it so much easier. this year i kinda regretted it though...not sure why0 just miss the long hair. sorry im sure that doesnt help, but your hair is really pretty- im sure itll look awesome any which way!!

I really like being anti-trend. So, I support you keeping your hair long, as it seems all sorts of gals are sporting short cuts this summer. If you're bored, add some layers, or some color, or go a little shorter. You have a lot of hair with which to work...

ReplyDeleteI think you should get it layered/thinned and then experiment with updos! I have found some really cute buns and things I'll be doing this summer so that I don't cave into chopping it off after working hard this past year to get it so long!
