I got tagged by Melanie over at Tip-Toeing Around Mid-Life to share 7 random facts about me. Since I have some new followers I thought that it might be a good way to get to know me a little better!
Let's see if I can shock and amaze you!
ONE.
The sound of bagpipes gives me the tingles - in a good way! I think I was a Scot in a past life.
TWO.
I broke my toe last October and it hasn't been the same since! It looks like a little red blob. Probably should have went to the hospital. For the record, I fell down the stairs - guess I'm lucky I only broke a toe!
THREE.
I die for live music, it makes me freak out with so much love. But I have a hard time at concerts (stand up, squishy, sweaty ones anyway). It makes me very anxiety ridden.
FOUR.
I once snorted a feather. On accident. Lenore drew a comic about it actually:
(For those who remember this actual incident, can you believe it happened EIGHT YEARS AGO. Man, we're old.)FIVE.
I almost went to music school! For trumpet.
SIX.
I have a subscription to 1 magazine (Bust), 1 podcast (The Dawn and Drew Show)... but... I'm subscribed to 111 blogs! Oops.
SEVEN.
I am a giantess. If you know me in real life, this is quite obvious. But for those of you who only know me from the internets - I am (are you ready for this?) six feet tall!
♥
I get to tag other people from the blog world now! YAY.
So, I think I'd like to get to know the following peeps a little better (and if you already did this prompt, please just link me - or share 7 more!):
Erin of My Beautiful Disaster
Jessi (and Cassie if she's not too new-baby-busy!) of Sparrows and Arrows
Jamie of Crafty is Awesome
Jess of Oh. Just. Jess!
Everyone share a random fact in the comments if you can. :)

now i want to see a picture of how tall you are! you look quite short in your photograph up there!

ReplyDeleteMy husband-to-be is of Scottish descent. But he doesn't play the pipes. And 6' tall! That is impressive, I should hook you up with my brother, who is 6'7". hehe. You are tagged in a post of mine later this afternoon. Be sure to check it out!
ReplyDeleteOh my, bag pipes get me every time, they literally bring a tear to my eye everytime I hear them!

I too love concerts but am soooo claustrophobic that if it is an open seating/standing type concert then I can't go.
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this. I love reading about other people!
six feet! I never would have guessed from your pics!
ReplyDeleteok the first one cracked me up!!
ReplyDeletesix feet ...never would have thought that! interesting facts about you, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteha. love the feather snort. things like that happen to me all the time. like the time in high school on a class picnic, i slipped a stepping stone and fell face first in a pond. or when my shoe got stuck in a crack in the ice once in college and i slid down an entire flight of outdoor stairs with my dress flying up. (though nothing got broken but my sense of self respect.) or the time... sigh. and i'm also 6 feet tall and get all undone when i hear bagpipes (or, let's be honest, a good scottish accent) ... eerie.
