Through the forest.

This weekend was a reprieve from my crazy quarter-life crisis. I was determined to enjoy what I anticipate to be the last summerish weekend of the year. Autumn is in the air!

Saturday I woke up and immediately got a hold of Daniel and Philippe, telling them to meet me at the Farmer's Market. We enjoyed many delicious mini donuts before embarking on our next adventure: I have been aching to go to the nature reserve all summer. If you can't guess why, maybe my pictures will do the talking?

We hiked around the trails, being delighted at every bend and turn. Afterwards we stopped at the chip truck on the side of the road where we encountered the sweetest chip truck man ever to exist. My favourite part of going outside the city is relishing in the genuine kindness of strangers. Everyone says that Newfoundlanders are the sweetest people around, but I find it a little harder to come by within city limits.

And on the ride home? The most epic Jagged Little Pill singalong a girl could ever ask for. I have never smiled so much in a single day!
